It’s part of the 425 Madison Ave. Series, which is a series where each book is a standalone written by a different author, but each book centers on the apartment building at 425 Madison Ave. in New York. I love this idea!!
Emmy has serious family drama and doesn’t want to deal with it at her brother’s wedding. Her lack of a boyfriend—and a hilariously pushy roommate—leads her to hiring Jake for the event.
Jake is the building’s maintenance man with strict rules…especially when it comes to the snobby, well-off women of the building. He thinks Emmy falls into this category, but he doesn’t know how wrong he is, and it makes for some really intense situations!
I loved Emmy and Jake’s amazing chemistry that they both try so desperately to deny. Resisting each other only works for so long, but once secrets start coming out, you just don’t know which way it’s gonna go!
This is a fun, swoony, and entertaining read filled with characters you’ll crave more of!
